i love your app, but can only give it three stars at present because of a new problem its causing me. Ive used it since I heard about it on Note to Self/New Tech City. However, ever since your 3/16/16 update, Im having a problem right after a notification pops up that your app is on pause. this happens even when I dont have the app open in the background. the notification pops up & my phone bricks. wont restart til I plug it in. this is entirely independent of my charge. Im sure you can fix it! & please do, because I had to delete it from my phone entirely, in the interim.

Great app to help limit kids usage. They can override or shut off the timer but they dont because they know the final time is what counts when I review it at night. If they went over our agreed time allowance they lose iPad privileges the next day. Helps establish house rules

Great job Kevin! Such a useful app really puts things into perspective when you see how much time is spent looking at a screen!

Used over 50% of my battery. I tested it for over a week on iPhone 5.

This app definitely helps me to know how much I use my phone and motivates me to use my phone less. It isnt to invasive of my information or too pushy in making my use my phone less, I still have control of my usage

Honest Review Time I downloaded this app for two reasons. First, I wanted to check how often I used my phone while at work. Second, as a secondary security measure to see if anyone accessed my phone while away from it. Moments is good at keeping track of picking up & how long you spend. You can definitely see the days that youre working vs. not working based on usage. Pros: Good at what it says it does. -I never upgraded, but I bet it wouldve had even cooler features. Cons: Battery killing & destroying app. -The review it lists in its own app of battery power is a lie. I noticed my battery dying quicker a couple days in. Today I was barely on my phone but noticed I was at 18%. Checked the battery usage data (iOS9.3.1) & noticed that the top app for battery draining was Moments at a whopping 16% in 24 hours in Background Usage. Since noticing, I have uninstalled the app. I hope this serves as a warning to potential users. Based on what it says it does, I would give it 4.5 stars. The fact it killed my battery Id give it 0.5 stars. I rounded down on my rating to 2.0 stars to not accidentally give someone the impression it was Fair. Hope this helps someone!

Simple in its design and effective in challenging me to be aware of my phone usage.

I wish this worked for me! First it said I was on the phone for an hour when I wasnt. But I figured it was my morning alarm- maybe I accidentally left the screen on. The second day it didnt track any usage until mid afternoon, though I had used it multiple times for long periods. Disappointed! I so wanted it to be a slam dunk.

I bought the full version and it immediately started going crazy. I set a screen free time and it gets stuck on it all the time. It will keep telling me to put my phone down because screen free time isnt over until 8:25... Even if its already 11. This is easily the most expensive app Ive bought this year and I cant believe it has given me problems every single day Ive used it.

This is a very enlightening app. I would especially like to see more analytics, like heaviest times I use my phone and what exactly Im doing. App uses a little more battery than normal but I find that to be worth it for the insight on my previously unknown iPhone addiction.

This is the best app for keeping you off your phone and letting you know how long youve used it. It is the only app I have come across that actually has a feature that "kicks you off" your phone once youve spent more time on your phone than you wanted to.

Nice app but in order for it to track your phone usage you are forced to give it location access. The app then leaves location on 24x7 killing your battery. I didnt want to give it location access in the first place. Deleting the app now.

If you can plug in regularly, and want to confirm you look at your phone too much, this app is great. If you cant afford to give up any battery usage, then this app is not so great. Now, Moment does have a whole battery usage explanation link in the app, and thats all well and good, but at the end of the day, I cant afford it and need my phone to be able to work.

App is killing the battery

Im trying to focus more and not waste time so this was a very helpful app to put me in check! However, I noticed my battery was dying halfway through the day and found this app was using 31% of it! And I hadnt even checked the app, that was all in the background. Im disappointed I had to delete it after only having it for about a week.

I love the concept of this application, but its actively running in the background all the time, so in the moments you do need to use your phone for an extended amount of time, Moment will significantly increase the rate at which your battery decreases. Especially if you allow it to track your location. Honestly, for most people who rely on their phones for important functions like navigation, moment may not be the right choice.

Its nice to track exactly how much time Im spending on my phone. Downside is that in order to work, it has to run in the background all the time. The weird thing is that it also requires location services to work, which doesnt make sense to me. A little bummed I spent $5 on it.

I was wondering what was draining my battery far more than usual. Turns out this app was second to my Phone in battery usage. Not worth the tracking.

never crashes, easy to use, clear and simplistic graphics, very nice! only wish the upgrade wasnt $5, seems a little steep.
