Battery killer

I love the idea of tracking usage and was going to even use it as a part of a statistics lesson however, it killed my battery in less than 12 hours and I was only on my phone for 35 mins according to the app. I checked battery usage and it was the top app with 28%, not the 3% as claimed online. I love the idea but dont want it to be the reason my phone dies.
